Classical music in a dream setting:
the Deià International Music Festival

Founded in 1978 by Patrick Meadows, the Deià International Music Festival ranks amongst the most important classical music festivals of Europe, a fact that contributes to the town of Deià and the island of Mallorca being known all over the world. Since its very first edition, the collaboration of international artists and the undeniable quality of its music programmes, combining tradition with the most up-to-date, modern trends have been the hallmark of the Festival.

Born from a modest “Paramusical Workshop” in the heart of Deià, the festival has grown into one of Mallorca’s most cherished cultural events

Today, it stands as a vibrant stage for both local and international artists, where classical meets contemporary in unforgettable performances.

From village churches to iconic venues like Son Marroig, the festival offers world-class music in some of the island’s most breathtaking locations.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains, the Deià International Music Festival is more than a concert series — it’s a unique summer experience where music and nature come together.
